You can find our size table here (or you can scroll to the bottom of this page).
For the handknitted items we measure each item and provide these where possible. An estimate is made based on these measurements.
On occasion Rosie can tell the size based on the knitting pattern used! -
Unless otherwise stated our items are all pre-loved/second hand, so there may be signs of wear- we have included photos where possible. We assess, mend where needed and clean each item.

When it comes to caring for wool it can be a little daunting but it doesn’t have to be!
If there are instructions on the item you can follow those, if it’s handmade then you can do the one of the following:Spot clean - wool’s properties means it can spot cleaned where necessary and then aired, either near a window or outside.
Handwash- using a small amount of detergent in warm water (not hot!) submerge and gently squish. Rinse, squish out the excess water. Rosie likes to roll hers in a towel and stand on it!
Wool will felt/shrink when the water is too hot with a lot of soap and too much agitation.Machine wash using the wool setting - many items can be washed in a machine on the wool or delicate setting, low temperature (either 20C or 30C) with a small amount of your usual detergent.
Dry knitwear laying flat where you can! Base layers can often hang as you would other clothes.

Whilst some wool can be itchy, it depends on the breed of sheep. Merino is a famously soft fleece, hence its popularity! Many of the items we’ve sourced are merino and often the jumpers are knit with a baby wool.

Visible mending is a technique where an item is repaired in a way that you can see- such as using a patch, embroidering over the area or using a contrasting colour to create a playful detail.
The idea is to celebrate when an item has been well loved and create something unique to help it last longer. -
